Michalis Stathakopoulos

Born in Athens, Michalis Stathakopoulos is a journalist with extensive experience in print and digital media, specialising in news reporting.

Since 2007, he has been Editor-in-Chief of Ecotec magazine, published by TECHNOEKDOTIKI / T-PRESS, focusing on green technologies and environmental protection. He is accredited to the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.

He has participated in major conference events as a moderator and coordinator, overseeing the Verde.tec Forum, the conference held as part of the international annual Verde.tec exhibition, as well as the Greek Green Awards.

He also hosts the programme Environmental Technologies on T-PRESS Web TV, covering major business and scientific events.

His previous experience includes working with television broadcasters such as ERT, Alpha and TEMPO, as well as collaborating with news websites and digital media. His reporting has covered a broad range of topics, including business and economic affairs, environmental issues, social matters, and general and political news.
