Alexandros Lagakos

Alex is the Managing Director for Eastern European region within Molgas, the leading downstream LNG and clean fuels supplier in Europe, present in more than 17 European countries today.

In the past, he has held positions within Blue Grid – now member of Molgas Energy Group (Managing Director), Thenamaris Ships Management (Freight Trader and Market Strategist), Shell Energy Europe (Senior Gas Analyst and Business Developer), Gazprom (Risk Analyst) and Mott MacDonald (Energy Economics Consultant).

Alex is the founding president of the Greek Energy Forum and a member of the UN Gas Experts of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). He holds an MEng in Electrical Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures (Imperial College London).
